You'll work in a modern facility within the heart hospital, caring for cardiovascular stepdown patients. Both 36- and 48-hour weekly schedules are available, providing flexibility to accommodate your preferred work-life balance.

Key Details:

• Schedule/Hours:
  • Night shift: 4x12-hour shifts (18:30 07:00)
  • Option of 36 or 48 hours per week
• Contract position

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent stepdown or PCU nursing experience required; 2+ years preferred
• Cardiovascular experience required
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; CPI certification preferred
• EPIC electronic documentation experience is a plus
• Open to first-time travelers and local travelers

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiovascular stepdown patients
• Maintain patient ratios (1:4) for optimal care
• Work collaboratively in a 55-bed unit, adapting as staffing and patient needs require
• Float to other areas within scope as needed
• Participate in a rotating weekend schedule as required
• Flexibly accommodate block scheduling requests, when possible
• Accurately document all care in the EPIC system
