Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts (no blocked schedules)
• 8-week contract, 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday required

Qualifications:

• Unrestricted KY or Compact RN license
• AHA BLS & AHA ACLS certifications; NIHSS required
• Minimum 2 years RN experience in Level I or II Trauma
• Proficient in tele strip interpretation and titration/initiation of cardiac drips
• Experience with post-cath care (femoral/radial), chest pain, and MI patients
• EPIC charting experience mandatory
• EKG competency assessment during compliance process
• COVID vaccine required (with allowed declinations subject to strict protocols); HEP B required without exception
• Strong work ethic, adaptability, and excellent communication skills
• Willingness to float within inpatient cardiac progressive care/telemetry units

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert care to cardiac progressive care/telemetry patients
• Respond effectively to high-acuity patient needs, particularly post-cath and trauma cases
• Interpret telemetry data and manage complex cardiac drips
• Adapt to varying patient assignments and assist as needed across the unit
