Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- Previous Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certificationactive and current
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certificationactive and current
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Capacity to thrive in fast-paced, complex environments
- Flexibility to adapt to new settings and procedures
Responsibilities:
- Care for transplant patients in a stepdown (PCU) setting
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, administer medications, and respond to emergencies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery processes
- Document all interventions and outcomes accurately
