Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from trauma, surgical, and cardiac interventions.
• Manage patient assessment and monitoring including telemetry and vital signs under unit protocols.
• Administer and manage multiple IV drips and medications safely.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient treatment plans and discharge planning.
• Respond effectively to changes in patient condition with timely interventions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation adhering to Meditech EMR standards.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• RN licensure with stepdown unit experience preferred.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Experience in trauma, orthopedic, or critical care nursing is highly valued.
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR system preferred.

• Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced Level 2 trauma center.
