Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week assignment
- 36 hours per week
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum one year of experience in a stepdown or PCU setting preferred
- Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based, compassionate care to patients transitioning from the ICU or acute care settings
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications and therapies per provider orders
- Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and allied health professionals
- Educate patients and families about ongoing treatments and recovery steps
- Chart accurately and communicate effectively during shift reports
