Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts, 19:0007:30, three shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Holiday shifts required based on unit needs (including July 4th)

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level care in a Progressive Care/Stepdown setting, managing complex patients and advanced therapies such as CRRT and BiPAP
• Draw labs, manage chest tubes and PICC lines, and respond independently to codes and consults
• Float between ICU, Med/Surg, Med/Tele, Acute/Tele, and ED, ensuring flexibility and teamwork
• Participate fully in orientation, training, and compliance with nicotine-free and credentialing policies

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years recent experience in Critical Care or Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Demonstrated proficiency with CRRT, BiPAPs, chest tubes, PICC, independent lab draws, and code response
• Kansas RN license or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Comfort with floating across units and working independently
• No new graduates accepted
