Stepdown Registered Nurses are needed for flexible 36-48 hour contracts. You'll work every other weekend, collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, supportive setting. Schedule/Hours:
- 36 48 hour contracts available
- Every other weekend required
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Recent experience in stepdown or progressive care settings
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to new teams and clinical protocols quickly
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients transitioning from intensive care units
- Monitor patients vital signs and respond promptly to changes in status
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and patients families
- Document care thoroughly in electronic health records
- Support patients recovery and provide education as needed
