Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum one year of recent experience in a stepdown/PCU setting
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NIHSS certification required
- Strong collaboration skills with interdisciplinary teams
- Adaptability in fast-paced environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to PCU patients with complex conditions
- Monitor and assess patient statuses, promptly recognizing and addressing clinical changes
- Administer treatments and medications as directed by care protocols
- Foster effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
- Accurately document care and maintain patient records in compliance with facility standards
