Schedule/Hours
- 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730)
- 3 shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call; holiday coverage based on unit needs (July 4th required)
Desired Experience and Qualifications
- Valid KS RN or Compact RN License
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- At least 2 years of recent experience in a Critical Care/ICU setting
- Proficiency with CRRT, Bipap, chest tubes, PICC lines, independent lab draws
- Comfortable handling consults, self-managed codes, and floating to ICU, Med/Surg, Med/Tele, Acute/Tele, and ED
- Adaptability to high-acuity environments and willingness to float as needed
- Cannot accommodate new graduate applications
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to stepdown and critical care patients
- Float across multiple inpatient units to ensure quality care delivery
- Provide direct interventions, procedures, and rapid clinical assessments
- Manage documents and charting using EPIC EMR
- Participate in a comprehensive orientation including both on-site and virtual training
