This is an excellent opportunity for skilled RNs with stepdown and critical care backgrounds to expand their professional horizons. Youll work alongside experienced healthcare teams, providing patient care across various units and gaining exposure to innovative leadership styles and cutting-edge practices. Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm 7:30am), 3 shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call shifts
- Holiday shifts based on unit needs (including July 4th)
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years recent ICU or Critical Care experience
- Proficiency with CRRT, BiPAPs, lab draws, chest tubes, PICC management, and leading own codes/consults
- KS RN or Compact RN license required
- Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the stepdown unit, with floating required to ICU, all inpatient units, and emergency department as needed
- Confidently manage critical situations and respond independently
- Maintain excellence in documentation using the EPIC EMR system
- Attend comprehensive orientation sessions to ensure seamless integration
