Schedule/Hours:

• Travel contract assignment (specific scheduling details to be discussed)

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Demonstrated experience in a stepdown/progressive care unit, ideally with post-cardiac surgery patients
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to post-cardiac surgery patients in a fast-paced stepdown setting
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient status, including detailed cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families, supporting recovery and promoting wellness
• Maintain meticulous documentation and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations
