Required Qualifications:

• Active RN License, valid in Kentucky or compact state
• Minimum of 1 year recent Stepdown or Intermediate Care experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong assessment, communication, and time management skills
• Ability to thrive in high-acuity, rapidly changing settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and care for patients transitioning from critical care to standard med-surg units
• Implement and regularly evaluate individualized care plans
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide support and education to patients and their families
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and progress
