Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent stepdown or progressive care experience strongly preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Demonstrated proficiency in patient assessment, care planning, and clinical interventions
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentorship skills
• Adept at patient and family education and multidisciplinary collaboration

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position (specific shift details will be discussed during the interview process)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough assessments and reassessments, promptly identifying changes in patient condition
• Develop, prioritize, implement, and continually update individualized plans of care
• Collaborate closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support holistic care
• Deliver evidence-based education to patients and families, ensuring understanding throughout the continuum of care, including discharge planning
• Document interventions and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Delegate tasks effectively, providing guidance and mentorship to both licensed and non-licensed team members
• Engage in continuous quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives
• Uphold current practice standards and participate in governance and shared decision-making activities
