A travel nursing position is available for a skilled RN with expertise in stepdown care, PCU, med-surg, or telemetry acute care. This role offers the opportunity to support critical care units in a vibrant city known for its cultural attractions and lakeside beauty located in Milwaukee, WI.
Key Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in PCU, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or Acute Care settings
- Competent in stepdown nursing or med-surg telemetry care
- Flexibility to float within skill set to onsite units or to nearby sites (within 40 miles)
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in stepdown units or med-surg/telemetry units based on organizational needs
- Monitor patient conditions closely and administer treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and adhere to hospital protocols
- Adapt to dynamic assignment locations, floating as required across units or facilities to meet demand
