Job Description
A registered nurse with experience in Stepdown, PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry Acute Care is needed for a contract position in the Milwaukee, WI area. This role offers the opportunity to apply your clinical expertise in a setting where patient needs vary between Progressive Care Units (PCU), Med-Surg, and Telemetry units.
Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, monitoring vital signs, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality care. Flexibility is essential, as the nurse will float within their skill set to different units and potentially to nearby sites within a 40-mile radius.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Minimum of 2 years experience in PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry Acute Care settings
- Ability to adapt to various acute care units based on patient needs
- Competency in assessing and managing stepdown level patients
- Willingness to float between units onsite or to other sites within a 40-mile range
