This travel assignment offers the opportunity to expand your clinical expertise within a renowned stepdown progressive care unit. Collaborate with specialized healthcare professionals and tackle new clinical challenges, ensuring every shift adds valuable skills and depth to your nursing resume. Schedule/Hours
- 36 hours per week
- Rotating shifts
- 16-week assignment starting 05/11
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of staff RN experience in Cardiac Telemetry, Progressive Cardiac Care, or Cardiac Stepdown settings
- Strong experience working in Tele and ICU stepdown environments
- Previous float pool experience highly preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR systems
- Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, AHA or APEX NIHSS
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, comprehensive care to patients in the stepdown progressive care environment
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure seamless transitions of care
