Schedule/Hours:
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday
- Ability to float within skill set or to nearby sites within a 40-mile radius as needed
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Progressive Care (PCU), Med-Surg, or Telemetry Acute Care
- Comfortable working in stepdown or med-surg/telemetry units, depending on facility needs
- Willingness to adapt to fast-paced, changing care requirements
- Must be able to float to different units and sites as directed (within 40 miles)
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care for patients with moderate to high acuity in either PCU or med-surg/telemetry settings
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans per physician and multidisciplinary input
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues
- Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition in high-intensity environments
- Maintain a strong commitment to patient safety, infection control measures, and regulatory compliance
