Job Description
A registered nurse with experience in Stepdown, PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry acute care is needed for a contract position in Menomonee Falls, WI. This role requires a minimum of two years experience in progressive care or medical-surgical telemetry settings, with flexibility to be placed on units based on current needs. Candidates must have the ability to float within their skill set either onsite or to locations within a 40-mile radius.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid RN license with 2+ years of experience in PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry acute care
- Credentials accepted for both Med/Surg and Stepdown nursing skills
- Ability to adapt to different units based on care demands
- Flexibility to float to nearby sites within 40 miles as needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in stepdown, progressive care, or med-surg telemetry units
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering treatments and medications as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Adjust to floating assignments to cover staffing needs across units and locations
