Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex diagnoses including COPD, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, renal failure, sepsis, and ventilator-dependent cases.
• Manage advanced clinical interventions such as tracheostomy care, mechanical ventilation, temporary/transvenous pacemakers, cardiac drip titration, and chest tube management.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and administer blood products and wound care following best practices using EPIC EMR and Alaris IV pumps.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members including CNAs, charge nurses, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, intensivists, and case managers.
• Adapt to unit and regional floating assignments across multiple clinical facilities as needed (with compensation for travel time).

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification.
• Minimum 18 months of progressive care or stepdown nursing experience.
• Proficiency managing patients with ventilators, tracheostomies, cardiac drips, and multi-system comorbidities.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records beneficial.
• Willingness to float within the designated region and maintain high-quality patient care standards.
