The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4, enabling you to foster meaningful connections and clinical impact while advancing your practice with complex, acute cases. Qualifications:
- Active RN license with 2+ years of Stepdown nursing experience.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Clinical experience with medical stepdown conditions (e.g., Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive Emergency, COPD, CKD, TDM2, encephalopathy, etc.)
- Adaptability to a high-acuity environment and comfortable with a 1:4 patient ratio.
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive patient care management in a 1620 bed medical stepdown unit.
- Monitoring, assessment, and intervention for adult patients with acute and chronic diagnoses.
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.
- Patient and family education tailored to complex stepdown needs.
- Accurate documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
