This role places you in a 28-bed Progressive Care/Intermediate Care Unit, known for its strong cardiac focus. Youll manage complex cardiac cases, including STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain patients, often working with critical cardiac drips like Milrinone, Dobutamine, and various pressors. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining safe patient ratios, handling a mix of high and moderate acuity cases, and collaborating closely with a seasoned team.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with progressive care, PCU, or IMCU experience
• Minimum two years experience in a similar-sized facility
• Demonstrated experience with cardiac patient management
• Familiarity with cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced unit

Responsibilities:

• Care for a 1:3-4 patient load in a cardiac stepdown setting
• Manage cardiac drips and respond to cardiac emergencies
• Flex between high and lower acuity telemetry beds as needed
• Coordinate care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain meticulous documentation and ensure patient safety
