Deliver expert care in a dynamic Stepdown setting, working alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team focused on providing high-quality patient outcomes. This position centers on monitoring patients transitioning from critical care, offering continual support while applying advanced assessment and intervention skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent Stepdown or Progressive Care nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients with complex needs post-ICU, recognizing and responding swiftly to any changes in patient status
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established protocols
• Collaborate closely with physicians, allied health, and support staff to achieve optimal patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care needs, and home instructions, demonstrating empathy and professionalism
• Accurately complete documentation and maintain patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in patient rounds and interdisciplinary meetings, contributing insights to optimize patient progress
