Schedule/Hours:
- Travel position; specific scheduling details provided upon interview
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU experience in a comparably sized facility
- Documented experience working in stepdown units with complex cardiac patients (STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, Cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors)
- Comfortable with a 1:3-4 patient ratio
- Experience with telemetry and IMCU populations is a plus
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required
- Professional photo for credentialing
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert nursing care for a 28-bed PCU/IMCU with cardiac population
- Manage patients requiring cardiac drips and monitoring for acute cardiac events
- Float to telemetry beds as needed, caring for varying acuity levels
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, compassionate care
- Ensure accurate documentation, compliance with evidence-based protocols, and effective patient communication
