Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience in a stepdown or progressive care environment
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with long-term acute care patients is advantageous

Schedule:

• Full-time contract opportunity

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing monitoring and comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions transitioning from intensive care
• Administer medications, conduct assessments, and document patient progress accurately in the medical record
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families on disease management, recovery, and post-discharge care plans
• Adhere to facility protocols and infection control policies
