As a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Stepdown, you'll provide advanced care in a high-acuity, academic medical setting recognized for excellence in nursing. Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications and Experience:
- Active RN license (required)
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Stepdown, Telemetry, or Progressive Care Unit
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and advanced cardiac life support
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in an academic medical center (preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and care for patients with complex cardiac conditions transitioning from intensive care
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and create individualized care plans
- Administer cardiac medications and manage telemetry equipment
- Recognize changes in patients conditions and intervene promptly
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and case managers
- Educate patients and families about disease processes and home care instructions
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records
