A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with pediatric stepdown experience to provide exceptional care in a childrens hospital setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver stepdown nursing care to pediatric patients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Float within the childrens hospital units, including PCU level and medical-surgical level, adapting to various care needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond effectively to changes or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in PICU or Pediatric PCU nursing; floating experience in these units is not acceptable.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Ability to provide care in an acute pediatric stepdown setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Navy blue scrubs are required as part of the dress code.
Schedule:
- Expect to work 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule.
