A nursing opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with step-down unit experience, working night shifts in a progressive healthcare environment. This contract position offers a chance to apply specialized nursing skills while providing excellent patient care in a supportive setting.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to step-down unit patients
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including infection control standards
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a step-down or progressive care unit
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a healthcare team
- Commitment to maintaining patient safety and quality care standards
Schedule:
- Night shifts
- 12-hour shifts with 36 hours guaranteed per week
