Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts: 1845-0715
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call
- Must be available for major holidays (potential for one off with managers approval)
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- 1 year of recent PCU (Stepdown) RN experience required
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certification
- Experience with high acuity drips preferred
- Skills in arterial lines, BiPAP, AIRVO preferred
- Must be nicotine free
- New graduates not accepted
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in the PCU
- Administer and monitor high acuity drips, operate arterial lines, and support patients with advanced respiratory needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans
- Float to lesser acuity units as needed
- Attend comprehensive orientation (5 days total for TUKHS and Liberty clinical/computer training)
