Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible 36 or 48-hour contract options
- Every other weekend required
Desired Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- At least one year of recent Stepdown experience
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- BLS and ACLS certifications (as required by position or state)
- Ability to adapt swiftly to new protocols and electronic health record systems
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to Stepdown patients, ensuring comprehensive monitoring and timely interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document all care accurately and uphold highest standards of patient safety and wellness
- Educate patients and families on recovery processes, treatments, and post-discharge care
