Schedule/Hours:
- 36-48 hour contract options available
- Every other weekend required
Desired Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year Stepdown or progressive care experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certification (must be current)
- Strong assessment, clinical, and communication skills
- Adaptable to changing environments with a positive attitude
- Previous travel nursing experience a plus, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care for patients transitioning from ICU to med-surg or requiring intermediate care
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and update care plans as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on care protocols and health maintenance
- Accurately document all patient care according to facility procedures
