Provide specialized nursing care in a progressive care unit dedicated to acutely ill patients who are moderately stable but at an elevated risk for instability. This role emphasizes advanced assessment, monitoring, and interventions in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care with advanced nursing knowledge in monitoring and interventions.
- Perform detailed assessments and recognize signs of patient instability.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation compliant with regulatory standards.
- Uphold safety protocols and ensure adherence to facility policies.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at submission.
- Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- PCU and basic EKG experience preferred.
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent (mandatory due to CAP moderate complexity testing requirements).
