Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and unrestricted RN license (compact licenses welcomed)
- Minimum of one years experience in a Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Experience managing patients with complex conditions and monitoring vital signs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients requiring intermediate/stepdown level observation
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Monitor patients vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and responses to treatments
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on conditions, procedures, and ongoing care needs
- Document care accurately in the medical record
