Schedule/Hours:
- Every Saturday and Sunday
Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in a Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Collaborative approach to patient care
- Experience with EMR systems is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert nursing care for patients requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans in accordance with best practices
- Collaborate efficiently with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and family members
- Administer medications, manage cardiac drips, and monitor complex equipment
- Educate patients and families on post-acute needs and discharge planning
