Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage patients transitioning from critical care, supporting them through complex medical needs.
• Administer medications, assess patient responses, and communicate ongoing changes to the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform frequent patient assessments to detect early signs of complications.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, respiratory therapists, and case managers to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding the recovery process, prescribed treatments, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license in good standing.
• Previous stepdown or progressive care experience highly preferred.
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
