Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized care for patients requiring close observation and intervention in the Stepdown unit.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to plan, implement, and assess individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress, vital signs, and promptly respond to evolving patient needs using evidence-based clinical practices.
- Deliver patient and family education on treatment plans and post-hospital care.
- Ensure accurate, complete documentation in accordance with facility protocols and standards.
- Uphold safety, infection control, and patient-centered care at all times.
Preferred Background:
- Active RN license in the state of Michigan (or compact state).
- At least one year of recent RN experience in Stepdown or similar acute care setting.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
