- Every Saturday and Sunday
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Recent clinical background in a Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity patient population
- Collaborative and compassionate approach to patient care
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care for stepdown patients requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and families to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and diligently monitor vital signs
- Document care accurately within the electronic health record system
- Respond quickly to changes in patient status and intervene as needed
- Provide patient and family education to empower informed health decisions
