Schedule/Hours:

Desired Qualifications/Experience:
- Active, unencumbered RN license valid in MI
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent Stepdown or Progressive Care experience
- Proficient assessment skills to manage higher acuity patients transitioning from critical care
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- EPIC or similar EMR experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage patients requiring intermediate care post-ICU
- Provide skilled assessments, deliver complex medication regimens, and deliver compassionate patient/family education
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare providers to ensure seamless, high-quality care
- Respond promptly to urgent patient needs and changes in condition
- Accurately document all care and progress in the EMR system
- Adhere to evidence-based best practices, hospital protocols, and infection control policies
