On assignment in a progressive PCU Cardiac Surgery Unit, you'll care for patients immediately following complex cardiac procedures, sharpening your clinical skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment. You'll collaborate closely with an expert interdisciplinary team, continually learning new practices and broadening your clinical knowledge.

Qualifications:
- Valid RN license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- Successful completion of a proctored rhythm interpretation test
- Experience supporting post-cardiac surgery or stepdown/PCU patients preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and adaptability skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care for post-cardiac surgery patients in a stepdown/PCU setting
- Monitor patient status, interpret rhythms, and respond to changes promptly
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Document care in accordance with departmental standards
- Educate patients and families, supporting the entire recovery process
