This opportunity places you on a PCU Cardiac Surgery Unit dedicated to delivering specialized care for patients recovering from heart surgery. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel position (specific schedule varies by assignment)
Required Qualifications:
- RN license in good standing
- Recent experience as a Registered Nurse in a stepdown, PCU, or similar unit
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-acuity, post-cardiac surgery care and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications and perform assessments as required
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
- Provide patient and family education
- Ensure adherence to evidence-based hospital protocols and patient safety standards
