Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:
- Valid and unrestricted RN license
- At least one year of recent experience in a stepdown (progressive care, telemetry, or intermediate care) unit
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients with complex medical needs in the stepdown unit, delivering high-quality nursing care
- Administer medications, therapies, and interventions as prescribed, ensuring patient safety at all times
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and optimize patient care
- Educate patients and their families regarding condition management and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all hospital and regulatory standards
- Respond promptly to evolving patient conditions and participate actively in emergency situations
