As a Registered Nurse experienced in stepdown care, youll deliver specialized monitoring and interventions for patients transitioning from intensive care, ensuring safe and positive outcomes. Schedule / Hours:
- Contract assignment
- Shifts and duration provided upon interview
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current, active RN license
- Stepdown unit experience required
- Proficiency with advanced cardiac monitoring
- Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care to stepdown patients, including assessment, monitoring, and therapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to formulate and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, post-hospital care, and recovery
- Monitor for changes in patient conditions and respond promptly with appropriate interventions
- Document care accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in performance improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives
