Schedule/Hours:
- Every other weekend required
- No call shifts
Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Recent experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit settings
- Competency with Cerner OneChart EHR preferred
- Adaptability for floating to similar units on the same or nearby campuses within Wichita
- Team-oriented, flexible, and able to work with diverse patient populations
- Ability to wear ceil blue scrubs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Stepdown unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient progress using evidence-based protocols
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Demonstrate adaptability while floating to like units as needed
- Uphold professional standards and support a positive work environment
