Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time assignment
- Shifts and hours as scheduled by facility, with flexibility required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients transitioning from critical care to general care
- Monitor patient condition, perform assessments, and update care plans accordingly
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status and communicate with interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on post-hospitalization care
- Document accurately and maintain compliance with all facility and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Active RN license, valid in Kansas
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Stepdown unit or similar high-acuity setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
