Schedule & Work Hours
- 12-hour night shifts (18450715)
- Every other weekend rotation required
- No on-call shifts
- Work major holidays; flexible accommodations for time off on a major holiday
Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Active RN license in good standing
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of current PCU RN experience
- Preferred: High acuity drip, arterial line, bipap/airvo experience
- Willingness to float to less acute units as needed
- Commitment to a nicotine-free environment
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding, evidence-based care in a stepdown/PCU setting
- Monitor complex patient conditions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Safely manage drips, arterial lines, and non-invasive ventilation therapies
- Engage in comprehensive patient assessments, documentation, and discharge planning
- Support patients and families during transitions of care
- Complete robust orientation program for seamless integration into the unit
