Qualifications/Experience:

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Virginia (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a stepdown/telemetry setting.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Care for patients requiring close monitoring and stepdown-level care.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Closely monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond to patient needs.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
• Accurately document all care activities according to facility protocols.

Schedule/Hours:
