Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care within the PCU using the nursing process and adhering to state and hospital protocols.
- Demonstrate leadership and scientific judgment to ensure the safe, effective delivery of care.
- Supervise and direct assigned personnel, delegating tasks according to staff capabilities and patient needs.
- Maintain competencies through required continuing education.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid ID Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact RN license (requiredattach license to resume).
- Current ACLS & BLS certifications through the American Heart Association (attach copies to submission).
- 2-5 years of recent progressive care (PCU/Stepdown) nursing experience.
- Experience with EMR systems preferred.
