Working in a Stepdown (Progressive Care) unit as a Registered Nurse promises daily exposure to the latest in patient care approaches and emerging clinical leadership. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignmentfull-time hours
Required Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license valid in Texas
- Experience in a Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
- American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Outstanding clinical judgment and ability to respond calmly in emergent situations
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to transplant and progressive care patients
- Monitor and interpret complex vital signs and patient status changes
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and interventions as ordered
- Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team collaborations
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care routines and recovery processes
