Schedule/Hours:

Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year recent Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt swiftly in dynamic, fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert care to Stepdown/PCU patients, monitoring vital signs, managing complex care needs, and providing timely interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to design and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families regarding recovery processes, medications, and discharge planning
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
- Adhere to evidence-based practices and hospital protocols to ensure patient safety
