Schedule/Hours:
- Travel position offering flexible assignments and schedule variety
Qualifications:
- Current RN license, in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test
- Previous nursing experience in a Stepdown, PCU, or cardiac care setting preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized care to post-cardiac surgery patients in a PCU environment
- Monitor patient status and recognize early signs of complications
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management
- Administer medications and manage cardiac drips as required
- Document observations, interventions, and outcomes with accuracy and timeliness
