Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment: full-time hours, with rotating shifts typical for a hospital stepdown unit
Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required
- Proctored rhythm test completed successfully
- Demonstrated experience in a stepdown or cardiac care environment preferred
- Strong communication and critical-thinking abilities
- Motivated, flexible, and eager to collaborate
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a cardiac stepdown unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, intervening as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care planning and patient education
- Document care and condition changes accurately
- Respond quickly to changes in patient status or emergencies
