Schedule/Hours

• 6-week schedule cycles
• Every other weekend rotation
• Potential for low census call (may be called back on shift)
• Holiday coverage (75% of major holidays)
• Up to 6 days off approved (excluding holidays)

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 18 months of PCU RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficient with tracheostomies, cardiac drips, rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, central lines, blood products, and wound care/dressing changes
• Open to first-time travelers

Responsibilities

• Care for diverse patient conditions: CHF, dysrhythmia, chest pain, stroke, abdominal and respiratory illnesses, diabetes, ETOH withdrawal, AKI/CKD, and more (excluding mechanical ventilation)
• Typical patient ratio: 1:4, up to 1:5 based on acuity
• Collaborate with a skilled team: CNAs, pharmacy, IV/vascular team, RT, hospitalists, intensivists
• Float among regional facilities as needed (paid for travel between sites if mid-shift)
• Use advanced bedside and centralized telemetry systems
